The Transylvania Business Center (CAT) has developed an Integrated Communication System, based on twelve components, which presents a great opportunity for any member of our association to send, receive and use information for making direct contacts in Romania and abroad.
 
 

Transylvania Business Center has launched the first Direct-marketing Program (E-Mail), concerning the automatic transmission of the information.With this system we assure the transmission in FAX or E-Mail form of the correspondence between CAT and its members. The informatics products offered at the moment are: the members list, the situation of CAT Common Market, the investment projects, the program and actions for developing CAT, the stage of the accomplishment of CAT Fund, the report concerning the offers/demands of goods and services presented by
BURSA TRANSILVANA.
 
 

INFOCAT / INTERNET facilitates direct contacts with firms, banks, organizations from all over the world and opens  the access to the database containing requests and offers of services and goods, useful information about companies, catalogues of products and business opportunities, information about leasing and renting different means of transport and many others. This program was developed in co-operation with CODEC, IIRUC, LOGIC TELECOM and SOROS Foundation the branch of  Cluj-Napoca.
 
 

"TRANSYLVANIA BUSINESS REVIEW" is a goal of CAT and its members, consisting in the publishing of a monthly review containing the information about the activities of the organization and its members. This project is possible as a result of the discussions had with the daily newspapers "MESAGERUL TRANSILVAN" and "SZABADSAG", by printing at the beginning of a supplement in Romanian, Hungarian and soon in English. By this we create a new communication channel between CAT members and the business communities from Transylvanian area, whole country and abroad. We also intend to publish the review in English and to circulate it abroad. There will also be organized interviews with the managers or the specialists from the firms, in order to make public the results obtained and to point the main obstacles in the development of the companies.
 

Among the founders of CAT there are the TV cable networks: SELTRON, TV CABLU and PORTAL. Further on we had as associates to our activities other TV stations from the area.  Each of this systems are at your disposal in order to send information, advertisement spots, announcements or communiqués which appeal also to the other CAT members, partners, customers and the large public. The conditions for communication and advertising are established by negotiations with each of the TV companies; CAT members having priority and some facilities according to CAT Common Market Program.

The Radio Stations associated to the activities of CAT asserted themselves also in the life of the CAT members as in that of our organization. Each of this stations, broadcast information about the organization and its members, about all the activities and the programs which we develop. CAT members have at their disposal these channels of communication highly appreciated in the business community and by the large public. For the members of our organization, the negotiated contracts with the Radio Stations, beneficiate of the priorities and the facilities according to CAT Common Market Program.

The press companies associated to CAT activities support constantly the communication between the members and the local market, providing at the same time an intense promotion of the commercial activities and investments. By the intermediary of the newspapers and magazines, the companies have the possibility of creating the wanted market image, identifying customers and keeping the business partners. The newspapers publish advertisements, products presentations, company profile, interviews and information which have a direct impact upon the individual readers, stimulating the coming into contact with the companies.

CAT owns a RADIO FREQUENCY for communications between its members and the organization. The members who own " Walky - Talky " radio equipment have the possibility of using this radio frequency by sending a request to the CAT secretariat. Those who do not own such equipment have the possibility of purchasing them from MIKOTRONIC-YAESU dealer, with priority and discounts, according to the CAT Common Market Program.
By developing this system we will be able to organize RADIO CONFERENCES for the CAT members and to increase the communication between them.
 
 

CAT developed the system of sending letters and documents trough "young couriers" for the communication of the information to its members. CAT firms supply the system with requests/offers of goods and services, presentation documents or advertising messages. CAT is extending this free of charge system, by collecting periodically the documents issued by the companies and circulating them every month to other members. At the same time, if there are requested actions and operative mailing on the area of the town, CAT can  provide "young couriers".
 
 

Direct contacts with foreign businessmen led to establishing joint ventures and concluding commercial transactions for the CAT members. Economic missions have been organized in USA, Canada, Japan, South Africa, France, Netherlands, Denmark, England, Sweden, Thailand, Hong Kong, Australia, Tunis, Turkey, Hungary. During this year there are some proposals for exhibitions and fairs all over the world. Every year the presentation of the companies associated to CAT is realized through catalogues or guides with the support of the following companies: ARTPRINT, DELROTI, NOVIS, PUBLIROM, REEL, VIKING, VITRINA FELIX MEDIA.

CAT Catalogue was edited in 1994 and 1995. In 1996 we participated in publishing "Products Guide and Trade Marks" with information regarding the activity of the organization and its members. WEB pages are producing and ELECTRONIC CAT-ALOG is now on INTERNET. CAT members beneficiate of this kind of advertising and are invited to insert their names and presentation in the catalogues edited by the companies mentioned above.
 
 

Every month CAT offers to its members a COCKTAIL PARTY where are invited representatives of the companies, banks, organizations and officials from the country and abroad. On this opportunity new companies are presented, many contacts are established and there are a lot of discussions concerning business or various aspects of the artistic, scientific, university and sportive life of our community.

All cocktails are organized by CAT's restaurants or clubs in turn and they enjoy a large audience.

Efficient communication can be realized in the region with the direct support of the CAT Centers.
