The placement service and consultancy team

SPEC came into effect as a result of the collaboration between “Babes-Bolyai” University, the Transylvania Business Center and development organizations in U.S.A.and England. The purpose of SPEC is to facilitate the contact between the firms and students/graduates on the working market. In the experience that we have achieved up to now has shown that there are a lot of job opportunities, but there is a link missing between the graduates and potential employers and students/graduates lack basic skills required. There are two ways for a student/graduate to gain experience:

1. To join an organization or company freely, only for gaining a practical experience. This may help to the professional training of the future employee, according to the necessity of the firm and the diminishing of costs with the further training of the personnel.

2. Obtain employment within a complete or reduced working program.

Our activity is based on the permanent relationship with the students and the firms' managers. The information regarding the students and their job requests are acknowledged and computer processed. The information is available at the firm's disposal when there is a job offer formulated. SPEC will do all the necessary arrangements for organizing an interview between the representative of your firm and the interested students. The collaboration between CAT and the Economic Lyceum has led to the development of the program Lyceum Business Center- LBC, exclusively meant for pupils. The high school pupils do an economic training by soliciting CAT member firms and ensure the delivery of useful services to the firms that receives the high school pupils. The services may include: shorthand and typing; administrative duties; basic accounting; recuperation of the debts; market tests; mailing; presentation of samples and offers; translation; data imput in the computer; Internet search; E-Mail correspondence and much more. This program is realized at firms, and benefits both: training and identification of potential employment in a working place for the pupil, and services for the firm.
