Abstract of the project:
Transilvania Region and Cluj-Napoca city wishes to accelerate the implementation of the communitary acquis at European standards, and to develop the transeuropean cooperation using the advanced technologies of digital television - dTV.

Half a million inhabitants will be, in this way, in direct contact with the specially created programmes for the understanding of the communitary acquis. Special programmes with the participation of specialists in the ... will be broadcasted and a web site with e-tools and online database will be developed.

By these actions, the process of transfering "classical" TV watches into "digital" ones will be accelerated and the load of the classical television will be diminished.

The project can only be finalized in a cooperation framework with an European consortium, both for the technical part (digital hardware and software and for the documentary part (filmed materials).

dTV Europa Nova - a television for the people from Transilvania and the global world.

TV Europa Nova is functional according to on the emission's licence nr. 16 TV/13th of October 1992, in colaboration with the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.

TV Europa Nova edits every day, from Monday to Friday two hours of personal productions. 

According to its licence, it has the right to broadcast 56 hours/month. All it's shows are interactive and highly informative for the cityzens.

 2. Local Administration - the viewers have the oportunity to present their to present 
                              their own problems with can only be solved by the Local Administration

 5. Medicine - hygienical - sanitary education

 8. Entertainment - traditional music and modern music
