FIELDS OF ACTIVITY:
CAT is a non-profit, non government, fully independent business organization
which follows democracy principles in developing its activities.
The association has 23 founding members and over 1000 members . It offers
support in various forms to help SMEs through the transition to a free
market economy.
The organization is developing an intense activity of supporting private
economic operators within the following fields: production; trade; transport;
banking; services, and mass media. This support is available in various
forms: free consulting; training; assistance; promotion of services; relations
and partnership development; organizing economic missions; research; developing
communications and databases for businesses.
The demand for assistance will be directed towards the following
activities:

Organizing the project team for design, construction and supervision;

Building and equipping the space for CAT offices;

Surface data: - land surface: 300 sqm
- one floor surface: 190 sqm/floor
- total surface: 2270 sqm
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT:

Realizing a representative building for the CAT Departments;

Improving the quality of the services offered to the CAT members, to their
partners and especially to foreign investors and businessmen;

Developing a system of communications and partnership between local and
international business communities

EXPECTED RESULTS:
CAT will have the appropriate space in its own property for developing
the activities in the benefit of local and international business communities.
PRIORITY CRITERIA:

Presently CAT is hosted in the building of CIM Company and the space rent
is increasing day by day (actual space rent is 10 USD/sqm/month);
-
A building owned by CAT is necessary because the organization has increased
the number of the members. CAT will also open new branches in the Transylvanian
towns and is developing the new communication networks, introducing e-commerce,
e-banking on the Transylvanian (real and virtual) market.

There is no such a building with facilities destined to assist foreign
partners and investors, in Cluj Napoca - "THE HEART OF TRANSYLVANIA".
